NSW Budget another missed opportunity to invest in affordable housing

The NSW Budget has missed an opportunity to invest record stamp duty revenue into long term policies that will reduce housing costs for a generation of NSW renters.

The NSW Federation of Housing Associations and Homelessness NSW said it was disappointing the NSW Government has not invested any of its $4.5 billion surplus on measures that would provide more social housing and tackle rental affordability, one of the biggest cost of living pressures faced by working families and people on low incomes.
