Monday, 16 March 2020

Homelessness NSW has been doing its utmost to get a co-ordinated response from the NSW Government on how to plan for and respond to the COVID – 19 virus and people at risk of and experiencing homelessness.  We are calling for:

  • A moratorium on evictions
  • Payments to cover rental costs
  • Financial support so homelessness services can stay open
  • A housing and health based response to support rough sleepers to stay healthy

Thanks to NSW Health for permission to share these resources prepared for their NGOs.  Please use these alongside the Health website information as this is updated regularly.
