The evidence base identifies that preventing and addressing homelessness can only be achieved through effective collaboration and partnership across SHS providers, other organisations and networks which respond to homelessness and related sectors. Mainstream agencies have also accorded high priority to working collaboratively at state, district and local levels. Despite the divisions created between organisations resulting from the Going Home Staying Home reforms, the sector is moving to a more collaborative space, accompanied by SHS calls for greater coordination and opportunities for networking. There remains, however, more work to be done in promoting collaboration between SHS providers, and between homelessness and other sectors. The Industry Partnership's 'Goal 2: Service Integration' centres on this endeavour.
