Homelessness NSW reports from meeting with SHSs about SHMT Program.

Friday, 12 May 2017

Homelessness NSW conducted a series of meetings with Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) between late April and early May 2017 in the four FACS Districts affected by the Social Housing Management Transfer (SHMT) Program.

The purpose of meeting was to assist them to identify what they viewed as the key opportunities, risks and challenges arising from the SHMT Program, in relation to housing and homelessness service provision in their district.

The four reports will be made available to all community housing providers (CHPs) in NSW, and advocate for CHPs interested in submitting a tender under the SHMT Program to adopt a consultative and collaborative approach to the planning and delivery of housing and homelessness services in the four FACS Districts.

The reports can be accessed below.
